Q: How can we live day to day life without thoughts?

Thoughts have nothing to do with your day to day life. I can tell you one example. You sit in your car, drive for half an hour, park your car in your office. Suddenly when you come out of the car, you realize that for the last half an hour you were driving.

You were doing completely something else mentally during your whole driving. At least you took 100 decisions – taking left, taking right, putting brake, stopping at signal. But you did not remember that you were driving.

Please understand, without your mind, you did the whole thing. So your mind can be occupied in the unconscious state and you can drive. Why can't you drive when your mind is occupied in the superconscious state? It is possible. And I have seen it in my own experience.

Q: Can acceptance be applied to worldly goals or should there be continuous effort for excellence in worldly affairs?

It is a tricky question. I tell you, these two are not self-contradictory. Even though it looks externally, acceptance and worldly goals or putting your effort is paradoxical.

Please understand, only when you accept this moment, you can put your effort for further affairs. As long as you have a conflict with this moment, you will never be able to completely put your effort. You will never be able to put your effort for excellence. So acceptance of this moment suddenly releases tremendous energy which you are wasting in conflict. So it is not self-conflicting as we always think. Acceptance and putting your effort for achieving the goal is complementing each other, not contradicting each other.

Q: Could you clarify what is mind and what is consciousness?

Mind is what you think as you. Consciousness is what is actually you. Mind is what you believe as you, what you show as identity to the outer world or what you believe as you in the inner world. But consciousness is actually what is you.

Q: Is the fully awakened state radically different from being in the body?

I can say yes, radically different from being in the body, and something more. It can't even be described as just radically different from being in the body. It is something more. It is like you outgrow it, it is completely different. See, it is not that you are out of body. If I say it is just radically different from being in the body, people start thinking that it is out of body. No.

See, when you are in the body, you think you are the body. When you are fully awakened, you think body is also you. It is not that you negate the body; body is also you.

Q: How can the guru change my karma what I am supposed to go through?

The moment you have put the question, the whole juice is lost. It can't be changed for you.

That is the big problem. See, it is such a sensitive issue. It is like master stretches his hand and if you stretch your hand of trust, the connection happens and he can lift you. The moment you think, 'I am too heavy. How can he lift me?' it is over. Now the process is difficult. Now you have to come up, do something by yourself.

It is a very subtle science. Usually I don't talk about these mystical experiences. But sometimes I have to talk. See, the strong feeling connection with the master is not a weakness. Many times, this devotion or surrender or feeling connection is taken as weakness; it is not.

Intellect is one channel with which you can connect to the Master or the world. Heart is the other channel with which you can connect to the Master or the world. You think, the person who doesn't have the second channel is strong. No! The person who is able to go through the second channel also is the strong person.

But somehow, society gives so much of importance to the intellect and logic, the feeling connection channel is never respected. It is again and again promoted that if you feel connection, you are weak. Devotion is considered to be a very weak thing.
