You will not be at ease without the appreciation and endorsement of the people around you.
}
Whatever we do, whatever we think, we are subconsciously seeking concurrence and approval from the people around us in some subtle way. We are very keen that we should earn a good name from everyone. We may not do this in a very obvious fashion, but if you analyze deeply, you will not be at ease without the appreciation and endorsement of the people around you. This endorsement, this approval, is what we call 'attention-need'. Our problems are due to this asking for attention or approval. You will find that all the hours, all your lifetime, you are involved in getting approval from others.

A GUIDE IN THE DARK Get all the players in the group to pair off two by two. One member of each team is blindfolded and spun around several times the other is given a torch. Rearrange various objects in the room like chairs and tables, turn off the lights and pick a destination for each pair, such as the piano, the computer chair, etc. The person with the flashlight has to guide their partner to that certain spot by telling the other player to go left, right, 10 steps etc. Let each team try 1 pair at a time for practice. Then each team picks a destination from slips of paper put into a hat. Now everybody goes at the same time, the first person to get their partner to the destination wins.

Introduce to the children about attention is energy.
To make them understand attention is energy
CLICK OF THE TOPIC: We don't know anything about ourselves
}
Why do we bother so much about others' opinions about us? Why can't we judge ourselves by our own strength and continue to do our work? Why are we deriving strength from others? All this is because of two things: One: we don't know anything about ourselves. We know ourselves only through others' opinions of us, only through others' certificates. Second: when others give us their approval and attention, they are actually giving us energy to move on. Attention is energy! That is why we feel so boosted when they give us attention. Attention in any form is alright for us. Don't think that only positive attention is energizing! Any form of attention is energizing
