Articles From Upanishads Series
What will be the outcome?
When you do these three exercises for all three categories, you will understand that the whole thing is a lie, "mithyā". "Lie" is too small a word. A lie is saying "the pot is white" when one is actually looking at a black one. "Mithyā" is giving an elaborate description about a pot when the pot even does not exist.
When you do these three steps, you will understand the whole thing is "mithyā". Because, every point is a lie. Like, whom you say you love is a lie, whom you think the person is not responding to your love is a lie, whom you say you love and he also responds is a lie. The whole thing, every inch, you will understand, is a lie.
Then simply you will catch the glimpse of:
- whatever good outside is inside you,
- whatever bad outside is inside you,
- whatever good inside is outside you, and
- whatever bad inside is outside you.
