Brazil Trip🔗

After the teachers training Swamiji went to Brazil where he conducted the ASP (LBP level 1) program. The program was very successful and core group of devotees was forming in Brazil. I was not there during this trip to Brazil but there were interesting incidents that were narrated to me by Sevananda and Ma Sachitananda. When Swamiji landed in Brazil, the immigration officer prostrated at Swamiji's feet (a traditional form of respect in Bharat when we see an enlightened master). He was quite tearful and said, "Why are you coming so late to our country. You have come in my dreams years before." There was a similar incident during one of the satsangs at a yoga studio. An an old lady came to him during energy darshan and blessings time, held his hand and told him in broken English, "You have appeared in my dreams 12 years ago. Why have you not come to see us earlier?" She said this and cried profusely. At the time Swamiji went to Brazil he was 27 years old and 12 years before that, he would have been a 15 year old boy in Thiruvannamalai. There is no logic to describe these events, but seeing this firsthand and experiencing the miracles of being around an enlightened master is truly spectacular.

Swamiji arrived back from Brazil and landed in Chicago. I flew to Chicago to receive Him at the airport. We stayed for a day at one of my cousin's home in the suburbs of Chicago where Swamiji spent a day and left the following morning to Bharat along with Ma Sachitananda, Sri Atma Maneeshananda and Sri Sevananda.
