Guru Gita
āsanaṁ śayanaṁ vastraṁ vāhanaṁ bhūṣanādikaṁ | sādhaken pradātvayaṁ gurusantoṣkāraṇaṁ || 50
50. The Sādhaka should present to the Guru seats, bedding, clothing, vehicles, ornaments, etc., conducive to His satisfaction.
karmaṇā mansā vācā sarvadārādhayed-guruṁ | dīrghadanḍaṁ namaskṛtya nirlajjo gurusannidhau || 51 ||
51. One should, in action, thought and word, always worship the Guru. In the Guru's presence, without any shame, worship Him with full prostrations (danḍavat), placing the whole body flat like a stick in front of the Guru.
[Guru-sannidhau – Guru's presence (sannidhua- dual linga)- mean just between Guru & disciple. ]
