Power of 'resemblance visualization'

The 'resemblance visualization' you carry in your life, defines the quality of life you lived.

What is 'resemblance visualization'?

Listen: whenever I utter the word 'peace', you will remember some place or some experience where you had peace. Whenever I utter the word 'joy', you will remember some place or some experience where you had joy. For me, whenever I utter the word peace, I remember the temple in Ramakrishna Belur Mutt on the banks of the Ganga River. Whenever I utter the word 'guru bhakti' or 'devotion' I always remember Arunagiri

Yogishwara's samadhi in Arunachala.

Resemblance visualization plays a major role in raising the quality of your consciousness. When a Master teaches, learn to read between the lines. If you want to really really really enjoy a Master, as Jesus says - drink the Master. You need to understand his resemblance visualization. A disciple imbibing the Master is a basic need, not a luxury. It is a basic need.

After Sri Krishna attained Nirvikalpa Samadhi and settled into the body, whenever he remembered the word Nirvikalpa Samadhi, his resemblance visualization would be the stillness and light of a lamp in a windless place – yatha deepo nivaatastho. So if you want to enjoy the peace which is in Sri Krishna's heart, meditate on a lamp in a windless space.

Your resemblance visualizations are responsible for your emotions - your anger, peace, joy, enlightenment, endarkenment, everything. When you transform your resemblance visualizations to the Master's resemblance visualizations, your quality of consciousness will become that of the Master's. It is possible to transform your resemblance visualization. So develop your resemblance visualizations,

evolve them to your Master's resemblance visualizations. Then the quality of consciousness you carry will be transformed to that of your Master's consciousness!

How many times and what kind of resemblance visualizations are repeated in your system is also important. In my system, if at all anything is getting repeated, only the resemblance visualizations of powerfulness, peace, guru bhakti are getting repeated. Actually, let me define clearly - my inner most space is in complete Nirvikalpa - sada samadhi. Nothing happens there. But in the space where I operate with you all, the resemblance visualization is always this high consciousness of Mahadeva, Sadashiva. When you imbibe the same resemblance visualizations, and repeat them with the same frequency, your consciousness also raises to the level of Mahadeva.

Meditation is nothing but changing your resemblance visualizations to Master's resemblance visualizations. Resemblance visualizations are realizations. When you align yourself to the realized resemblance visualizations, you realize. Aligning yourself to the realizations of the Master is resemblance visualization.

Meditation - Sit straight. Let us directly enter into the process of dissolving into Sri Krishna's resemblance visualization. Visualize a lamp in windless place. Close your eyes, remember a lamp in a windless place in your heart. Be centered on the lamp in windless space. Close your eyes and sit and meditate. Remember a lamp in windless space.

Three types of beings

In the Bhagavad Gita, Bhagavan Krishna describes very clearly that the world has only three types of beings:

First, those who are completely enlightened, and who are guiding the way. Only good happens to the world because of them.

Second, unenlightened beings, who can disturb themselves but not others; who are ignorant, and do not know the way, but are ready to be guided.

Third, unenlightened cunning fellows who don't know, but who are guiding others and trying to create a culture; who are teaching without knowing the truth. These people are criminals, because they destroy the whole society, the whole civilization.

Bhagavan is advising on all three categories.

To the ignorant people, he says, 'Don't follow unenlightened teachers; they are criminals.'

To the cunning fellows, he says, 'Don't destroy the trust of the ignorant people. Don't try to interfere with their life; you will only destroy them.'

To the enlightened beings, he says, 'It is now your responsibility. Encourage the ignorant people, continue to inspire them to seek the truth of life, guide them to be in action without being attached to the results of their actions, guiding them to develop the qualities of love, trust, devotion, and all the auspicious qualities.' If you are in the ignorant group, take care that you are not guided by the unenlightened beings, either socially, spiritually, morally, or culturally.

If you are in the cunning group, trying to guide others, stop your criminal acts! You have created enough poison in the human mind, you have caused enough destruction!

If you are an enlightened being, understand that it is your responsibility to inspire people to seek the right things in life.

Be immersed in the Divine

The qualities of the Master, the words of the Master, the actions of the Master, the expressions of the Master remembering all these is leela dhyana. Leela dhyana is the Sanskrit word for being immersed profoundly in Guru or God.

When you are immersed in Him, you will have deep yearning to achieving saayujya – the state in which He is. I am telling you - wealth, health, name and fame, joy, pleasure - I give all this things when you ask for it. But when I really really love somebody, if somebody who has dedicated himself or herself completely to me comes and asks me personally, 'THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, what is the best thing in the universe you can give me?', I promise you I will give only this - what Bhagavan Krishna calls as mad samstham adhigacchati - being immersed in me. Nothing, nothing, is equivalent to this. Whatever you may be doing – walking, talking, sitting - be immersed in Him. All of you should have this as a boon!

Understand, when I tell you to be immersed in somebody, the person has to be an incarnation or a deity.

That is the reason why we put so much silk, gold, diamonds, on the deities. Because your mind is engrossed in silk, gold, and jewelry, when the deity has it, your mind gets engrossed in the deity, and starts living with it. Why do you think I am wearing all these rudraksha beads? Only to make human beings engrossed in this space. Let you use something to be engrossed in Guru and God.

Being immersed in God liberates you from all commitments and responsibilities of the world because that is the most important responsibility and

commitment! If you can be immersed in God, all responsibilities are taken away from you, but you continue to perform all responsibilities! Responsibilities drop only when you are really immersed in Him. You may not be expected to do anything, but you will continue to perform. Try this as a sammyama, a spiritual practice. Continuously do leela dhyana of your guru or favorite deity, remembering his actions, his words, his leelas, his lifestyle, the auspicious qualities he expresses, the joy he radiates. If you remember him continuously, it means you are immersed in him. When you are immersed in him, you will have deep yearning to achieve the saayujya – the state in which he is. When you have a deep yearning for saayujya, you will see that it happens in your life.

Like a lamp in your heart

Losing your connection with your Master is too strong of a loss. It is too big of a miss. Let it not happen to you in your life.

Lots of things on which your suffering is built will be taken away from you, just by your feeling-connection with the Master. But ignorance is such that it will constantly try to retain itself and try to have a hold over you. In all possible ways, ignorance constantly tries its best to move you out of the Master and your feeling connection with the Master.

What Buddhism calls as Mara, what Christianity call as Devil, what Hinduism calls as Maya, all this is nothing but losing connection with the Master. The worst Maya, Mara, and Devil is losing the feeling connection with the Master. Devil does its job by making you constantly lose the connection with the living Master.

Even when some people try to cherish enmity and abuse the Master out of ignorance, I tell you very clearly, many molecules in their own system will not accept it, will not tolerate what they are doing, because their very molecules carry the sacred, great, amazing, joyful, intense memory of the times and experience they had around Master. The sweetness still remains fresh alive inside.

But out of ignorance or arrogance or some other vested interest, they go on suppressing those beautiful great memories, just to suppress the voice of their organs, the voice of their molecules, they raise their voice louder and louder and abuse the Master. They just want to avoid that part, suppress it, put it in unconsciousness - but unfortunately for them, no voice is unheard or suppressed by their own consciousness!

The suppressed voice and the suppressed truth, the suppressed experiences naturally do not die, and those molecules which are suppressed, those organs whose voices are not heard, they naturally protest, and start a non-cooperation movement within the person themselves. This is what becomes physical and mental diseases.

Connecting with the things that are lower than you is the ego. Connecting with the things which are higher than you is devotion. Don't lose the feeling-connection with the Master – it is too precious. It is like a small lamp kept in your heart; don't allow the cyclone of ignorance, or arrogance, or negativity and sensationalism put out your connection. Keep it alive. Always retain the connection with the Master; it is the ultimate gift!
