Contribution of Sannyasis to the planet

On the sacred land of Vedic Bharat, have walked countless powerful ochre-robed beings who carried pure hearts of compassion and gigantic wills to selflessly enrich humanity. They are the Sannyasis (monks) who called the world their home and walked door-to-door awakening people to the truth, while healing and blessing them. The whole of Bharat has been built by Sannyasis. Whether it is architecture, art, science, culture or language, Sannyasis have contributed the best things to Vedic tradition.

In my pre-sannyas life I have been an Electronics, Research and Design Engineer working at Intel Corporation in U.S.A and in Bharat. I am a Sannyasi because Sannyas is a declaration of true freedom transcending the boundaries of race, nationality, colour, culture, religion and all kinds of barriers that has been created by man. Sannyas is the power to enrich every being with the highest responsibility and enables me to make a beautiful difference to the whole world.

Madukari Bhiksha - the ultimate form of enriching

In Vedic tradition, the Sannyasis go home to home to connect and bless the people. Going for bhiksha is not an ordinary thing. This is not begging. It is a powerful spiritual ritual in which spiritual healing, sacred ash, booklets on meditation and spiritual solutions are shared with people.

This tradition goes back to Mahadeva, Lord Shiva, who in the form of Bhikshadana, decided to come down and go for bhiksha, relieving people of all their karmas and giving them the ultimate knowledge, advaita jnana.

HEALING THE WORLD

The Sannyasis, who are the initiated spiritual healers, share the gift of healing with people from anywhere in the world

THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM initiated Dr. Sri Pranananda Swami into healing by giving his energized healing stick and blessed him saying, 'this will be a Vaidyeshwara (a great healer). Start healing any one coming to you for any disease, if you touch with it (the energized healing stick) it will heal."

Since then he started healing directly and also distant healing via email, phone. Pranananda Swami explains - "I take the photo sent to me and bring myself to the Ananda Gandha and heal people by touching the healing stick on the photo. People are reporting immediate healing i.e. within 2 to 3 minutes they experience relief. I just ask them to pray to Swamiji as I heal and they say that they feel the energy flowing through their body immediately".

Ma Nithya Prematmananda Swami was initiated as a specialist healer and a distance healer by His Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam. She has been travelling and attending to healing calls per day at various parts of Tamil Nadu and is also a specialist distance healer.

People find relief in just a single telephone request for healing. Swamiji initiated her and gave the healing stick, blessing her that people will be healed when she performs healing. Dr. Ma Atmapriyananda brings her consciousness to the "Ananda Gandha" (the Cosmic Energy center awakened by the His Holiness) and prays to Swamiji as she touches the person with the healing stick. DIKSHA: Dharmic Intellectual Kshatriya Academy

Intellectual kshatriyas are individuals trained to lead society using dharmic ways. They could be serving in a variety of professions such as: politics, government, law, industry, education, mass media, military, among others.

Unfortunately, because of centuries of Islamic rule followed by British rule, we became brainwashed into losing our own leadership qualities. Gradually, we started believing that mimicking others makes us superior. The dharmic systems based on artha-shastra, dharma-shastra, niti-shastra and other related shastras became sidelined. Eventually, many of us accepted the Western Indology views according to which our Vedic traditions are primitive and oppressive.

While there are many new initiatives that teach Vedic knowledge, this is not enough in the modern kurukshetra where civilizations compete. We must teach our leaders to engage other civilizations in various settings, and this requires understanding the other civilizations. Our traditional system known as purva-paksha is a brilliant methodology to understand the other party in a very thorough manner. After doing a purva-paksha, one develops the uttara-paksha (response from our side). In modern vocabulary, this system is called 'reversing the gaze' at the other side in order to understand them within our own framework.

Presently, we face a dual threat: There is Hinduphobia that attacks us viciously. There is also the process of digestion of our assets into other faiths - such as the Christian Yoga movement to Christianize yoga. By knowing the purva-paksha of the major non-Vedic systems in the world, our leaders will be positioned to articulate how we are different, to debate with opponents on a wide range of issues, and to apply Vedic knowledge to solve modern challenges facing humanity.

This training academy will send teachers to teach in other colleges and universities where they are producing leaders in various fields. For example, we could accept the responsibility to teach the DIKSHA curriculum within a management college, or to newly selected officials in the Hindu Foreign Service, or to universities where new media professionals are being produced. In other words, we hope to supply teachers and curriculum to third party institutions so that our curriculum may be incorporated as part of their offering.

Hindu Internet Think Tank program organized at Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. Over 100 individuals from all over Bharat were awarded the 'Hindu Kshatriya Awards' by His Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam for their active contribution for protecting and promoting Hinduism and its sacred principles through the internet. Only the spiritual strength can provide the basis for a strong and resurgent Bharat to share spirituality with the world.

The recent Kumbh Mela held at Nasik, Maharastra, Bharat in September 2015 was an experience of all dimensions of Hinduism. Grand Vedic rituals and spiritual talks were held at the Nithyananda Peetham camp inviting the honored presence of many saintly leaders of Akhadas, representing different aspects of Hinduism.

Kumbh Mela is the biggest gathering of spiritual beings and of millions with devoted faith on the planet from tens of thousands of years. At this Divine confluence, the tenets of Sanatana Hindu Dharma are raised for the highest conscious growth of the whole humanity.

THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM, as the Mahamandaleshwar (spiritual head) of Sri Panchayati Akhada Mahanirvani, has been taking the responsibility of upholding the principles of Vedic dharma, the cosmic laws and protecting them from degradation, while raising them to greater heights.
