Differentiate chronological planning from psychological worry. Worry means disturbed state of mind or anxiety. Chronological planning is needed to set up a schedule for tasks. Planning is perfectly alright. But before we come to each task we think of pros and cons of each, and create anxiety that is psychological worry. Chronological planning is fine but psychological worry is not needed. Planning is being spontaneous without worrying. Talk about hakkunematata – means don't worry be happy. Tell the story of grasshopper and ant to reiterate the meaning of planning and worrying. When something is forced on us it creates worry. Talk about the ants which plans, and works and save food for the rainy season. Worry is the constant negative thoughts, ideas that is happening in us. Because of the insecure feeling we have in life we create worry. Everybody must understand it is ok to fail. Failures are the stepping stones. Ask the children to plan for a pajama party.
