Mata Vibhuthai and His grandmother Anusuya Ammal took His Divine Holiness to Poondi Swamigal as a baby for blessings. He took young Swamiji to his lap and offered Him traditional puja items of fruits and flowers. The sacred Arunachala was visible from where Poondi Swamigal was sitting. He blessed young Swamiji, pointed at the hill and said "Appan (Father) has come! Appan has come! Appan has come!" Tiruvannamalai Saints refer to Paramashiva as their own father.

Vendanta Guru Mata Vibhutananda Puri and paternal grandmother Anusuya Ammal took His Divine Holiness to Poondi Swamigal as a baby for his blessings. Upon seeing Him, Poondi Swamigal exclaimed, "My father has come! My father has come!" He then kept young Swamiji on his own lap and received the traditional offering of pada puja from Him (ritualistic offering to a Guru's sacred feet). Earlier, when His Divine Holiness's mother had visited Poondi Swamigal when she was pregnant, Poondi Swamigal had exclaimed, "My father Himself will be born!" Tiruvannamalai Saints refer to Paramashiva as their own father. Thus the incarnationhood of His Divine Holiness was mystically revealed by the great Saints of Tiruvannamalai.
