Incarnations are beings, who have seen the wonder of spiritual truth, experienced the bliss of the Universal energy and have the freedom to stay on in that Bliss for ever and ever. Yet they have come back to Planet Earth to tell others about the glory of what they themselves had experienced. They are on a mission that Existence has sent them upon, which they execute with the compassion that only an enlightened master can possess; the compassion to see themselves, and their divinity in every other being.

In every generation there are a few such incarnations, who descend on this earth to show others the bliss that they themselves experience continually; their mission is to help all others reach the same bliss that they experience.

It is this infinite compassion that sets an incarnation apart from other beings, however evolved they may be spiritually. An incarnation has internalized the concept of 'vasudeva kutumbaha', that the whole word is one family; I am you, You are I.
