In Gratitude
This account of THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM's life is a labor of collective love of his followers. The words flowed from the Master. Work done by myself and others was only to write these words down. With THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM's biography, unlike the Mahabharata, there was no need really for a Ganesa to transcribe Vyasa like renderings; in this day and age recording and transcribing gadgets with appropriate voice recognition software could have easily done the job. It was the Master's compassion and love that allowed us to be instruments in this creative process. For this, we are eternally grateful to our Master.
This is a heartfelt biographical account of a unique master; one who transcends any classification of nationality, culture, religion, political affiliation or social status. Most importantly he transcends any attempt to frame him, as a master, as a friend, as a mother, as a child, as a beloved. He is mercurial, forever changing and keeping us flexible. He lives with us in form and out of form, sharing his love, joy, energy and laughter. THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM was born in our time, yet his message is beyond time. THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM is a person in whom East and West meet; in whom time and space meet.
His message to us is clear: I am not here to prove I am God. I am here to prove you are God.
Throughout this introduction we have referred to THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM as nithyananda when talking about him in his pre enlightenment period. This is deliberate, not an error of proof reading! In many places, you may find the English not quite that of the Queen or the American President! This too, is deliberate. It is English as was spoken by the Master, the Truth as it was delivered, not air brushed.
The brief given to us was to present the Truth in as detailed a manner as possible and with as much background as possible so that the curious reader is not left puzzled with doubts. In the process the book may be more informative, and intellectual rather than purely emotional. We hope that the balance that we have strived to reach works for you.
