Chapter 11: To a seeker (from someone who did not even know what seeking was!)
To all the readers out there, all I want to say here is five years ago I really did not know what seeking was. We lived the so called American dream, had a good home, a successful career, a young family. I was running 100 miles an hour not knowing what I wanted out of life. Yet, the word spirituality was not in my dictionary. Only thing I did was follow my heart. When the master came there was a click and I followed the click. I have troubled the Master a lot and it was purely his love and it was only due to His compassion that I continued on this path. Swamiji always tells us follow you heart and you will never go wrong. This path is so simple; if I can do it so can you. However there are dangers and pitfalls in this path. The moment we start to analyze the master, we are bound to fall because the plane he is residing in is a pure logic less space. If we try and analyze Him from our plane of logic we will simply miss him. Luckily for us we did not read a lot of philosophical books. We were not spiritual shoppers. When the ultimate consciousness of the enlightened being shined on us, we followed our heart. That is all we did. The rest was taken care of by my Master. This path is so simple, if I can do it, so can you!
Whenever a close devotee or disciple goes off track, the master truly feels for them. He would often say, "arey, this guy has missed me the last birth and his being had a painful death experience. Why is he repeating the same mistake again?" However the master will never interfere with one's free will. He is nevertheless always available to them. If they take one step forward, he is willing to take 100 steps with them. I do wish and hope those who have taken a detour in their spiritual journey realize that it is not every day that god comes down in the human form to uplift us. He has made this journey so easy and so much of fun. Do not miss this opportunity that comes once in many lifetimes.
It has been a truly exciting journey these five years. It is only now when I started writing this book I looked back at all the events, all the miracles, all the spectacular incidents that have happened around the Master. As I look forward I feel very fluid, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment and gratitude. I am seeing every day is opening new understandings in me.
I know I am the most blessed person on this planet.
