Break your inertia pattern

Your whole day's mood is controlled by time. You can see very clearly that if you are habituated to going to the office at 9 am in the morning, exactly at that time you will be agitated! This is because exactly those patterns which agitate you will be active at that time.

Same way, those patterns which never let you take responsibility in life will be awake and alive between 4.30 and 6.00 am.

If you can wake up by five a.m. every morning, all the engrams which are not letting you take responsibility will be killed, because they are usually up even before you get up! They start arguing inside you - Why should I get up?

You have to fight with those engrams, and only then you can get out of bed. Some twenty-five demons are standing around you. One fellow says - Are you a slave or what? Every day you have to get up and go there, what is there if you miss it one day? After all, that other person does not attend four times a week, you only miss once a week. So don't bother! So many demons like this are standing around you! And I tell you - these patterns are the same demons which never let you take any responsibility at your workplace. These are the same demons which come up in your workplace, asking - Why are you working so much, you are not a slave, it is okay.

If you break the morning tamas, morning inertia, you will break many of the patterns which do not let you take responsibility in life.

Taming the mind

27 August, 2010

The mind is not as wild and uncontrollable as you are constantly taught, or as you constantly think. You create a war with yourself and fight with yourself because you continue to feel that the mind is uncontrollable.

There was a very beautiful enlightened Master and alchemist. Alchemist means, he who can transmit enlightenment through medicines and herbs: a siddha. He continuously wrote verses calling the mind as my inner ghost: the ghost which is there inside. When I read the verses, I realized that it is a very powerful technique. Whatever problem is created by the mind, he gives a solution for the mind, verbally, keeping the mind outside as a ghost. He says, O my inner ghost, listen, this is the truth.

You don't know the power of uttered words. The words which are going on inside you will not be clear, stable, or recorded in your brain until they pass through the vak (throat). If all your problems have the power of sixty six percent, the uttered words will have the power of one hundred percent.

When you utter the words towards your mind, suddenly so much of clarity will happen. Your mind will just settle down, keep quiet. It is a ghost as long as you don't know how to tame it. But the moment you know how to tame it, it's just a simple child. All you need is to sit alone with your mind and have a simple friendliness towards it. Clearly tell your mind the solution to your problem.

Whenever you are facing a problem, go into your room or some other place where you can sit and talk to yourself, where you will not be in trouble for talking to yourself - because in society, you can't talk to yourself openly!

Clearly visualize that your inner ghost, your mind, is sitting in front of you. Talk out loudly and give the solution to the problem also! You do not know the power of this process! Don't feel shy, timid or disturbed. Verbally tell your mind, this is not the problem. This is not the solution. This is the problem. And this is the solution.

Just try talking to your mind for one week. It needs nothing else. Talking to your mind and taming your mind is a very powerful process, which can lead you directly to the silence of the mind.

Flow with the cosmic goodness

07 February, 2012

I can translate dharma and adharma in this way.

If the basic facts with which you make all the decisions of your life are in tune with Cosmic goodness and the larger vision of life, you are flowing with dharma. It means, whatever you are creating is going with the good of the universe.

For example, you are giving medical care to people and making money. This is complete dharma. But if you are selling narcotic drugs and making money, it is complete adharma. Your success is going to be destruction for so many people.

So, if the facts with which you make decisions are good for the Cosmos and good for others, then you are moving in the right direction. If they are not good for others and the world, that is what I call adharma. Adharma is the wrong cognition of life, which leads to the wrong actions and decisions.

Life larger than lifestyle is d*harma.*

Lifestyle means, what kind of food, what kind of house, what kind of car, what kind of clothes, what kind of people you have around you. Looking at your life larger than your lifestyle, planning for your life larger

than your lifestyle, is dharma. It means that your decisions are not just centered on you.

Keeping yourself open to all the possibilities is dharma. Keeping your being open to all the auspicious things in life, whether it is wealth or health or enlightenment or fortune, is dharma. Shutting down the possibility is adharma.

Keeping all the possibilities open - that is the first thing. Second, not postponing or delaying or shutting down the possibilities, just because you cannot encounter or face certain situations.

Trusting in the possibility is dharma, the flow of life. Unfortunately, by and by, you start believing that the possibility itself does not exist. Believing that the possibility for further progress does not exist is defined as Rahu in Vedic astrology. Whenever you shut down the possibility, you are suffering with raahu.

Shutting down any possibility, shutting down any hope, is atheism. Keep all hopes alive - even if it is false hope! Understand, all hopes finally lead you to hopelessness - not because they are false hopes, but because they ultimately lead you to reality. Hope by its very innate intelligence leads you to reality. So keep all the hopes alive. Keep all the possibilities alive.
