What is porn?
It is nothing but trying to have something impossible.
You think pornography increases your passion.
No! It adds too much of fantasy, makes real life dull. Whether you are man or woman, porn takes away reality from you. Porn takes away your real love, your real lust, and takes away passion in life.
The real love or lust you carry in your body, if you live in your regular life, you will at least exhaust that and you will be free from it. You will be liberated. You will go beyond it.
There is no animal other than the human being which wants to indulge in sex until death. For every animal there is a season; the body reproduces and settles down. In human life, there is no settling period. There is no end, because of the new component introduced in your life called the mind. The mind can store the pictures. It can store even ordinary pictures. What about porn?
When porn is added to your mind and body, it destroys the reality of your life. Life becomes hell, and you will never be satisfied with one man or one woman in your life. It is very difficult for you to understand reality as reality. Once the porn gets mixed in your system, you will not have respect for the real person in your life. Your lust will always have the guilt of impossibility. Your desire will always have the unfulfilment, a continuous hangover of anger and the guilt of inability, even before it starts.
A man who watches porn will always be in depression and carrying guilt about his abilities. No buffalo, no bull, no dog, no donkey thinks about his performance! It is only human beings who suffer with this great disease of performance, which is the contribution of porn. Look in. You will see how this destroys your beautiful life.
Human beings should take birth and grow with their natural flow, without the interference of the mind. They should be physically mature at the age of twenty one and the next fourteen years should do the job of reproducing. From twenty-one to thirty-five, this should be his Grihasta life. After that, he should be out of physical relationships. He should be ripe and become Vanaprasthi, and by the next fourteen years, he should be Sannyasi.
First three cycles, of seven years each, is the age for brahmacharya, until the age of twenty one. Second, two cycles is for grihastha or married life, from the ages of twenty-one to thirty-five. Then next two cycles are for nanaprastha, thirty-five to forty-nine. By fifty, the person should be a sannyasi. This is a beautiful flowering for natural ordinary human beings. But unfortunately, when the porn component comes inside, even if you are sitting in the wheelchair, you cannot keep quiet. The mind is still jumping when the body is not able to jump. That is hell.
Unfortunately, human beings don't understand the way porn works on you. It does not enrich you; it makes you poor. Because you think it is enriching you, you are taking it. If you know there is something which is poisonous for you, which will kill you slowly but surely, will you eat that? No. But because you think it enriches you, you go behind it. Porn is like that.
If you live your regular life, without the added component of fantasy created by porn, you can exhaust the real and natural love or lust you carry in your body by the time you are thirty-five. Then you will be free, liberated, and you will go beyond lust.
