There is no one greater in the three worlds than the guru. It is he who grants divine knowledge (divya-jnana) and should therefore be worshipped with supreme devotion.

To Dakshinamurthy, the Guru of all gurus, to Patanjali, the great scientist of the inner world and to Raghupathi Yogi for recognizing me as a highly evolved spiritual soul and initiating me to the Science of Yoga with such love and care. Finally, to all the Masters down the ages for dedicating their lives to preserve, update and impart the traditions of Yoga.
