Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple Columbus Aadheenam, USA
On 14th April 2007, Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple at Columbus, Ohio, USA was inaugurated by living Avatar THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This is the first temple established and energized by His Holiness outside Bharat.
The temple physically came to life in just 9 months after THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM's declaration that: "There will be a Shiva temple in Ohio."
The chief presiding deities of the temple are Sri Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyanandeshwari (Lord Shiva and Devi). The deities are 7-feet tall granite, weighing 6 tons, and thier faces have been directly hand carved by THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM.
The Deities represent the divine energy and strength of Arunachala Hill in South Bharat, the Cosmic place where Lord Shiva manifested as an infinite Pillar of Light.
The temple inauguration ceremonies lasted two weeks and were all performed by THE SUPREME PONTIFF OF HINDUISM BHAGAWAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM to bless and anchor Divine energy into the presiding deities through the rare cosmic process of prana pratishta, bringing life to the deities. The Kumbhabhishekam, a sacred ritual to energize the temple with Cosmic Energy landing into the deities, is a huge service to humanity as it raises the positivity of the whole surrounding areas and makes the pure Divine Energy available to all.
